ok, so i am cutting up my frame soon and adding some tubing.
i was wondering what tubing all of you use?

1'' .095 DOM (drawn over mandrel) tubeing is what most people and manufacturers use. For smaller supports you can use 1'' DOM. A lot of people use whatever they can find and it works as long as it is properly welded.

1.5" .095 electroweld is what most use and most manufactures use. But DOM is much stronger.

Right now I get 1.5" .120 wall DOM for $3.00 a foot. So its not too bad of a price for the extra strength around the cockpit.

For the difference in price you would be doing your self a favor by buying the DOM. I use nothing but DOM on all chassis parts.

1 5/8 .120 wall dom. thats stuff is good and strong. Afterburnt's whole buggy is built out of that stuff
