I need seats for my buggy, it is a beeline chassis i think. we dont want no stinking poly seats, they make my back hurts just thinking about them.
i seriously considered getting these seats.
http://www.hunsakersports.com/html/synkro_vinyl.html
but after looking at their specs and doing some measuring i dont think they will fit.
so what do yall use for "good" seats, i dont want poly or the aluminum kirkey seats.
I would really like to put a real full fledged suspension style in the buggy but i dont know if i'll find one that fits.
I dont want to cut the sides out of the buggy and redo all that stuff, cause some pretty beefy treebars are already in place.
what are some options, cause i know there are some of yall that like me want to ride in a comfortable seat.

Try contacting Baja Warrior over at AZbaja.com. He owns Pro Seatz an can build you a narrow set of suspension seats to fit your rail at a very reasonable price. Phone # is 480-284-6656.

Empi race trim seats. I haven't ridden with them yet but they are very comfortable and come in different sizes. Best of all they are cheap for a suspension seat.

This is where I got my set from and they shipped quick. They come in cloth, vinyl, headrests, no headrests and different sizes as well.

Great links and great info. i'm still concerned about stuff fitting,
i got to measuring, and i feel like i'm running out of width pretty fast, and i dont want to have to pay to ship something back cause it didnt fit.

I run racecraft suspension seats in mine, tight fit in my berrien buggy sandfox frame. But I doubt I'll ever have normal seats in a buggy again.

hey franken buggy, what is the width of your car at the base, and at the height of the top side bar.
and do you think you could get 2 of those seats in there easily?

Racecraftseats.com has the dimensions of the small rail seats. I have two of these in a Myers Tow'd that was converted to a rail. I'm sure Scott at Proseatz can make them in the small size. His are all USA made in at his shop at a price that is about the same as the chinese Race Trim seats from Empi. For that matter the size tube that is used in these seats will bend with an electricans tubing bender. You can make the frames and get someone to cover them. Lets keep our money here and not send it to china.

Oh, and as far as comfort. A few of you may have seen my wife sleeping in my buggy as we went up killer Memorial day weekend. She was mad when she saw it the next day tho, lol.
