Dean bare with for posting this here. I am going to have to leave the buggy scene and sell my buggy. Due to circumstances beyond my control I must sell my sons and my railbuggy. Those of you that was at D&K know what it looks like. I will post pictures of it soon as well. The frame is a fugitive two seater with the roof redone for poly seats. The motor is a 1915 with a 3 rib that has a super diff in it. trailing arms are 2x3's too. I have built this over the past few years for my son and I to be able to spend time together. I really hate to sell this but I have too at this point. It comes with the drive on trailer and the spare parts that I have here as well.
I am asking $5000 for everything.

I will just have to get back in to buggies at a later time.

Part of it is my health and the other part is family issues. It hurts to sell her more than you can imagine.

Thanks everyone, I will survive and move on. I never quit anything so I'm not quitting now. Cancer and everything else I have never stopped loving life. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and encouragement. Right now the family issues are the worst because there isn't anything I can do about it. Feeling helpless isn't a good feeling thats for sure.

John, I wish there were some other way for you, but I understand you gotta do what you gotta do. When I told my 8 yr old that you guys might not be at D&K next time, he said "Its OK, his Dad can bring <your sons name> to our house so we can play!". My little one has only been there twice, so the trip that he got to play w/ your son has stuck in his mind.

That kinda struck me, because to me it meant buggy ridin' is a way to make friends, and that is what matters and not the buggy itself. Kids say it like it is-- and he's right, you have our friendship, buggy or not.

So keep in touch. With the obstacles you've overcome before, this "aint no hill for a mountain climber!". There's usually an extra seat or two somewhere in our crowd, and you all will be welcome to ride along!!

Larry
