It looks like it would go through a sand dune instead of over it. Odd looking engine. Tony |

Change that out for a new Hayubusa motor and it would really fly. I would love to buy that thing. If it was closer I would be all over that. |

It may be a honda, I know the gs had those carbs and the engine case with the over sized ends on the crank case. But I have now idea how you put a gm alternator on. lol |

i think if you look close at this thing,it looks like a chain drive setup.the chain from the engine works the tranny and then it has axles(they are not in it )that bolt to the swing arm and then im guessing that there is an enternal chain that goes back to a stub axle to turn the wheels.is this tranny some kind of tranfer case with a sprocket on the input shaft.somebody buy this thing so we can disassemble it and find out more.lol.chad. |

alright guys i couldnt stand it.after about 10 mins photo editing this damn thing trying to read the name plate on the side of the engine i called the guy.he said that it was a yamaha, but i don't think so,he said a guy who was a big time offroad baja builder a legend i think was how he said it,built this thang as a hobby.he said its been setting over 10 years since the guy died.said he couldn't tell me his name but said he was a famous builder for offroad racers and he is friends of the son and wife and they are selling off evertything and moving.he is going to take alot more detailed pictures and email me them so i will have them whenever he sends them and then we will know what this is.chad |

It's about $1600 to get it shipped to cleveland ohio. I guess I don't need to know about the motor that bad. |

ok this guy sent me like 30 pics of this thing but not one of them had a good pic of the swing arms, but it is chaindrive it has air over hydraulic suspension you can adjust all four corners it has a-arms up front with a torsoin bar/sway bar set up it has a cool little transmission in it that is chain driven with cvs on the drive flanges it has a hydraulic shifter in it and a bunch of spare cogs and chain cover plates and extra motor parts.it looks like it has a serial number plate on it it has a horn so it may be titled or possible to get one for it.this is actually a cool buggy,if it was closer i would bid on it just to get the thing and play with it,its got alot of old parts built a long time ago but i'd say these was top of the line in its day.the body is removable and really bent out and put together extremly good.they put alot of time and money into this buggy.all in all well worth the money for parts alone.chad |

Let’s see the pictures. I hope the suspension is aired down in the pictures. It looks extremely low. |
