Right now we r gunna pass, let me see if the buggy survives d&k the 4th and wallet is still intact. If you get the fees post em here. I know you gotta get a pass for the buggy and the truck to get in.
p.s. you got paddels for it?

You are required a Michigan ORV sticker on any vehicle entering the dunes $16.25 ( this is good for a year and the entire state) and any Vehicle entering the parking lot or dunes needs a State park sticker I think they are 4.00 a day or a season pass for $25.00. A flag mounted to the front of the buggy must touch a bar when you drive under I believe it is 10'. also a voucher is required to get in to the parking lot these are available for free the night before on a first come first serve basis. I have never seen them run out except on holiday weekends. The DNR are super cool if you just follow the rules...don't be an ass. on busy weekends they test for decbles I belive it is 96 DB @ 3000RPM and a USFA spark arrestor is required any reverse flow muffler or turbo counts as a spark arrestor.. and NEVER try to guess at what is on the other side of the dunes they change DRASTICALLY from day to day and even hour to hour. Have fun and be safe.

Went every year for nearly 20 years.
Definitely a good time.

One other rule they really enforce, NO alcohol.
I have an enclosed trailer, they inspect the coolers and contents of the trailers on the busy days.

Unless you have a windshield, eye protection is mandatory and I'd still wear protection.
Scott goggles work the best.

10' is correct on the flag, mounted in front of the front spindle centerline.
Minimum 1' square orange.
Every shop, gas station or convenience store on every corner sells them.

The dunes are cool and if you wanna take some time off riding, take this tour.

A driver takes you out on the area of the duens you are not allowed in your buggy.
Gives you a history and so on, pretty cool.
We take it every year we go.
