i got this drum brake kit for the front but someone said i couldent use it with them kind of rims? is that true if so what kind of rims do i need?

With wht kind of wheels, steel?

You can use drum brakles with most any wheel other than a spindle mount.

As long as the wheel type you use has an offset that will miss the caliper, it shouldn't matter what you use.
