i dont worry about my engine its allready back in my street car driving 60 miles round trip to work everyday. i would start by having a good engine built. if you cant build a good engine your best bet is water cooled.

HAHAHA If you can't fix a AC you sure can't work on a WC.

Hell its the damn carbs that scare me. And once mine goes bad I just go to the junkyard with $500 and bolt one back on. That I can do. Build a stroker, I don't think so Tim! And Kyle, I've had a buggy for six months and 3 rides, there are enough other things for me to learn and tweek on this thing. Just trying to live within my limitations, never seems to work tho, lol. And one more thing for the record, I will admit I am in awe of what some of you guys can do with a little 30-40 yr old ac motor, I just know I can't and don't have anyone local to learn from.

LOL, relax, if I knew how to build a stroker and access to all the machining equipment, parts, and money to spend, I would have bought an A/C buggy. I sacrificed weight for easily replacible power. Hard to beat A/C for power to weight ratio in the 200 hp range. That better Kyle?

Well, sounds like to me this calls for a W/C vs. A/C little competiton in the woods at D&K 4th of July weekend. Not one of the big crazy organised events, just a messin' around kinda thing. Sounds good to me, anybody else think so?

im just teasing that is a never ending debate a/c vs w/c . nittro_mudder you should get plummerbill and odynuck to go with you to haspin that is a place you can really fly around the trails i bet they would have a blast in those wide turns.

Thats what I liked about wellsville. Haspin has the main fire trail that is wide. But that is just to get back to camp easier. We seem to stay in the woods where you are constinly bouncing off of your damn tree bars, lol. Was a nice change at wellsville to cruise in 2nd. Unfortunitly my frame is set up for a lightweight AC not a heavy inline WC. Great for riding wheelies, bad for riding wheelies up hills. I see 5x7's or baby chains in my future if I want to climb. That or a 3rd seat on front beam to counter weight it, anyone wanna go for a ride?
