Anyone do any riding in the slade county Ky area near Natural Bridge? I heard of a place called carburetor hill. I did a google search and all I saw was jeeps. What are the rules there, anyone know :?:

Rode in Natural Bridge area a couple years ago. It was a nice place, real nice regulars, too. Pretty mild riding, though. They got some very nice cabins to stay in and where I camped had hookups and a pavillion w/ picnic tables.
If there are rules, I didnt hear about them or it didnt seem that anyone was very uptight about anything. Saw SxS's and 4x4s on the blacktop like it was a normal occurance around there and plenty of partying and night riding going on.

I have been there before, it is a very nice place to ride, but very rough in some places and anything that has wheels is allowed there except for dirtbikes and 4-wheelers, you also gotta have tags and insurance on your vehicle to ride there, I used to have a Suzuki Samurai and rode there a lot about 3 years ago. I even took my 4-wheeler there too, just lucky that I did'nt get caught. They have several hills there one called the Devil's backbone, Moonshine Hill, Carburetor Hill, Oh-Sh*t Hill and so on. You can get lost there easy unless you know your way around or have have someone to follow that knows the way around.

Must be talkin about two different riding areas. This was pretty much backwoods riding where we were, and no one had tags that I saw, and there was no one checking for them either.
The man who owns these cabins: http://www.naturalbridgekentucky.com/pe ... valley.htm
also owned the campground where we stayed. Everything was pretty laid back. The only rule he stated was try not to rev up motors and act a fool late at night to disturb others.
