I just bought a new rear torision irs whole thing to switch mine from swingaxle and go to 3rib trans. On my old torsion the swingaxle one it has frame horns i guess there called that hold the tranny up but my new irs torsion does not. do i just need to cut the ones off my old one and weld them on? Or is there some other way to do this I dont think the torsion i just bought ever had the frame horns on it thanks for the help

My frame has 1.5" tubing instead of the stock horns. Do you have the tranny mount on the irs torsion?

A buddy of mine bought a frame with that mount on it. It is VERY nice. I would not have guessed it would be that cheap.

Tubular Frame Horns

shown with optional rear trans mount

Stronger than the single tubes other manufactures offer as replacements for damaged stock frame horns or as an accessory to their custom torsion, our tubular frame horns attach to the torsion more than half way around. This ensures a stronger joint, better able to handle the abuse of off-road terrain or really deep potholes.

Available as an option for custom torsions ordered for customer installation, our tubular frame horns are required when a custom torsion is factory installed in a chassis.

$88.28 a pair
Installation, sales tax & shipping not included. http://www.berrienbuggy.com I hope this will help you, I learnt a whole lot just trying to post it lol.
