Im trying to figure how to lift a trailer. Its a gooseneck enclosed trailer with torsion axles. I need to lift it about six inches. Has anyone done this? Its too close to the bed and I want lift the trailer so I dont rip the bed side off. Any ideas would greatly be helpful. Thanks |

There are many different height 5th wheels out there. Swap yours for one that has the height you need for clearance or raise yours up in the bed. |

Steve send me some pics of the axle attachments and frame rails,,I raised a 5th wheel camper a few years back but it was easy it had leaf springs and we just did the ole spring over mod and that gave us almost 5" and raised(lowered) the hitch on on frt of camper worked out good. I'm afraid I'll have to do my toy/hualer I'm building or I'll lower my dodge! |

Weld a 5" X 1' section of channel on the bottom of the frame on both sides. Then weld a brace from each to a crossmember. Then reattach the axel. |

looks like it may be as simple as putting a lift kit on your trailer. from the pics looks like a 6" box tubing bolted on top of the holes in the torqe flex axle with a piece welded between them so they wont rack on you. maybe. what ever you do let use know. i'll have to do it next. with a tag along i dont have that problem but i cant get anything over 32ft in a tag. |

I took my flat deck trailer and flipped the spring perches to the top and gained the thickness of the axle tube but i have leave springs maybe you should bag your daully and set it on the ground that would be cool |
