I'm to the point in my build of figuring out my seat mounting. I have Racetrim suspension seats and was toying with how much to lean my seats back last night. I was in the range of 3" rise in the front and felt comfy. Its easy to sit in the garage and think its where I want it, but don't want to hate it after riding. Just curious what some of you guys/gals have done. Thanks WB community. |

I have done something similar. I had to drop the rear of the seat 2 1/2 inches to help with head room. I like the way it sits. |

My only suggestion would be grab a beer or two and sit in it for a while like your taking a long drive. See what it feels like after that. I fell asleep in mine, welded them in where they were. |

Mine are only poly seats and I have them front raised about 2 inches. This works well for my buggy. When you are looking at your headroom, make sure to put on a helmet and see how if feels. A helmet takes a lot of room.. |

In my buggy (which also runs poly seats) I have 1.5" of drop from front to back. My flat strap is welded to the top of the front tube, and the rear of the bottom tube. A friend of mine has his leaned back more, and said his neck hurts on long rides. But I think everybody is different. |

I might try to make a bracket that will allow me to adjust the the front of the seat elevation easily. I'll most likey make the mount with a 3" max rise in the front. |

This is how I have mine as well gives a little cushion to if your flat bar isn't to thick to acts as a suspension some. If you raise the front to much watch out for it putting your legs to sleep cutting off blood flow. My old seats were to high and did this to me if I rode for very long. The Wild Kids |

I just finished building mounts for my racetrims. There's about 3" difference front to back. It actually felt a little better tilted back more, but I was concerned about some of the issues already mentioned. 3" seems like the sweet spot. (that's what she said) |

Hey man I lied... After thinking about my post, I decided I should actually measure the height difference instead of giving an eyeball guess. The front is only 2" higher on my seats. I guess my eyes need re-calibrated but in my defense, I never measured it in the first place. I put it where it felt good and stuck it. |
