Congrats Baddvw!! Wow what a great buggy. I got to see it in action today at the Cold Spot and it is the real deal. If money was no object...I'd have one like.
Way to go Chad. You did a really nice job.

Thanks everybody, I am really pleased with it, I could not ask for a better one, it is my pride and joy in building this one from the trials and errors from my old one and putting all kinds of ideas from great people on here into it. I really appreciate it guys! Chad 8)

Definitely a beautiful ride. I saw it at the Turkey Run and pictures don't do it justice. A whole lot of time and money sitting in one place. 8)

Thanks, I am am having no problems with the front towers at all, it is designed to accommodate 10" coil-over shocks, if you are planning to run coil-overs on your front end, make sure you get the chromoly coil-over beams, it has some reinforcements along the towers to make it beefier, it is well worth the $$$ for it, I got it from this website called Dan's Performance Parts, here is the link......http://www.dansperformanceparts.com/bug ... 0front.htm and the part number is.......14-401010, I know that this is 6" wider than stock beams, but it helped save my a$$ twice yesterday because it keeps me from flipping over sideways, I slid down a hill sideways about 10 feet and it did'nt even try to flip over, it just stayed planted on the ground, I am not saying it will completely keep me from flipping, BUT it helps. You will see some videos on here soon if anybody caught it and you will see why. Thanks again, Chad

I know its off topic however how do you like the Boggers over the "V" tread?

I ran the V-trread for a little while on my old packrat, and I wanted to try something different like the boggers and went to the Cold Spot one day and man what a huge difference it makes! and also gives me more ground clearance too, about 1-2 inches more. I think they are cheaper to buy than the V-treads too, I got the tires for $200 each then, I think, and the V-treads are around $250 each un-cut, but I have the 4-ply Goodyears though, not the 8-ply Firestones.
