I was just looking at dune-buggy.com. Someone was wondering what happened to that site. I know lots of us have at one time been part of that site. This may sound odd for me to say but I miss that site. Lots of us met because of it and if you think about this site is really an offshoot of dune-buggy.com. I don't see anything negative about that site growing again. Of course I am not wanting to see everyone leave here and go there but most of us have time to take part in both sites. Just a thought. D. There never was enough activity on that site to hold my attention so I never hung out there much. I tried thesamba.com but hamburgerbrad was such a dickhead that I rarely go there. Seems like it would be just as easy to let newbies ask questions without locking threads and pissing them off. If you never rehash a question then you never progress on it, things change and an answer from 2001 might not apply today. I like shoptalkforums.com because there are several smart cookies on there that can answer why things work the way they do. I tend to do my reading in the speed and drag racing section as the offroad section is overpopulated with sandjockeys. Theres a lot of good info on VW motors in the speed section that applies to our motors as well. |

I stop in there about once a month or so. Woodsbuggy.com's colorful layout has spoiled me and Buggytalks layout looks very dated now! I'll see if I can remember my password. Larry |

Like I said it was just a thought. I have gotton to the point that I only looked there when someone told me check something out. I am very nostalgic though. I guess thats why I would hate to see it die. |

I went over there, got same result as Brett, password not valid. Maybe Todd cleans 'em out after a while if you don't use them? Sent an email to see if he can fix it. Larry |

thats one of my favorites. I would have never found this site if it wasnt for that one. Best way to do it is to ask a question wait a few days then check it dont expect anything fast. I think shoptalkforums is probably #1 for technical answers and Woodsbuggy is definately a close second with knowledgable guys with answers you can actually understand.. But when you have a question its like you can never get the answer fast enough.. Just my opinion.. |

The members at woodsbuggy's are by far the friendliest. They seem more down to earth like people youd wanna go drink with all night.. Other websites its like you just use them for answer, this one you use because you like the people and the info that comes with the friendships.. |
