Actually a couple of years ago I was in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and came across the Wide Open Baja office. I signed up! It was a undescribable blast! I know Wide Open has lots of packages and the one I took was on the low end but I got to drive this car 30 miles at speeds up to 95mph. Part of the course went right along the Pacific Ocean. During the drivers meeting our host pointed out the saftey crew. The saftey crew was passing a joint at the time.

I did it in October. I took the cheap route and rode their test course in Cabo San Lucas. It was a blast. I don't have any pics yet of the ride, but I took lots of pics of the buggies. If anyone wants to see or post the pics I can email them to someone, but I don't know how to post them. Prices for their test track run from $250 for 6 laps on up depending on the number of laps. They have 4 and 7 day baja tours that are $3500 and $7000 if I remember correctly. |

Isn't Mexico a wonderful place? I had the freakin time of my life in Cabo. You were like me I bet and saw that yellow buggy sittin on the sidewalk and walked in with your credit card out and ready to go. |
