The standard travel unit is around 10Gs, The Long travel is 14Gs. You can have an Extreme Long Travel Pilot for a lot less than that. |

Willie do you have the standard or the long travel? My friend and i have toyed around with the Ideal of buying a pair of those because of the 50" withe that allowed use on state trails. After the Hatfield McCoy trail system people told us they were not allowed our interest dwindled. We also felt it was a lot cash to lay down for something that a Pilot will run circles around. The long travel caught my interest however. I still have a brand new Woodsbuggy and two Pilots for now however the Jurys still out on the Razer! |

I don't know which is better but that video was not exactly a scientific test. Why would anyone spend that when you could get a buggy for less? And I don't think these things are gonna run across rough terrain anywhere near as fast as a buggy. |

And I don't think these things are gonna run across rough terrain anywhere near as fast as a buggy. Granted its not a Scientific test however it just enough proof that a Pilot can and will out perform a RZR for a whole lot less money. The RZR is too top heavy to do what a Pilot can do. I do agree about the rough terrain and thats why I have both Pilots and a full size Woodsbuggy. The RZR comes with an 800cc engine and is under powered in my opinon. I will be installing a Rotax 700 twin in my long travel Pilot over the winter and I will gurantee it will blow the doors off of a RZR. For that mater the 500cc motor i have in it now will lol. |

well iv beat the hell out of both the rzr we got is a 08 all stock iv changed rims and tires to make it wider and the pilot i had was stock i think it was a 89 and it was cool as hell and id love to have another 1.the rzr is a 2 seater,4x4 and has room for a cooler and in the woods for all around rideing it will kill a pilot id almost say it will out go an average bug and is alot tuffer then u would think it may not out climb a buggy but trail ridein it will hold its own |

However the Pilot did pass them. My Wife and Daughter love to offroad. My Wife keeps bugging me to finish her 500 upgrade on her Pilot so she can race next year. |

There again, I drive my Pilot as fast in the Woods as I do when I race (with in reason) and I still think the Pilot will have the Edge. Now I will have to qualify my Pilot by saying it is nothing near stock supension or motor. |
