Eric, don't think I got to meet you this weekend but did watch you race. Dusty is the word of the weekend. I have never seen it that bad before. They are 15 inches behind on rain this year. Had a blast and hope we can do it again sometime soon.

Yeah, a rain would have been great. Still met a lot of people and saw a lot of different machines. It was the 2nd time I have been there. One of these days I would love to go to Wellsville

lol Nah, my feet were fine.. there were plenty of people looking at me climbing that hill in the playground bare-footed, though! I ride that way all the time. Phil stayed on his own side, but man he snores! Between his snoring and the atvs racing until 1:30, I thought I would never get any sleep!! BTW, where was the baddest hill at D&K? I never saw any that were crazy steep, but they were VERY rough down there.

Cool.. I read something about that on here and even found a website. Is there an "official" website up there? I have heard so many good things about Wells, I would love to come up. It is about 5 hours from here, but it would be worth it to me. I have built some transmissions for guys

Hi Curt, you did give me a little push. I remember thinking I was out of gear and just rivving the engine a little when all a sudden I propelled forward. It was you. And thanks again for you and your dads help putting the trans in my buggy. Lots of folks helped me that day. I must say I feel real privilidged meeting everyone I met at D&K. A classy bunch of folks.

The creek is just out side of Oak Ridge and is private land that we get to ride on. 3000 acres from what I have been told. Great place to ride and camp, you want to see some steep ass hills that is one place to go, the next would be Atena which is close to Chattanooga, TN.
Here are some videos of the creek.

The last video does not do the hill or Curt justice, it is one that you have to see in person to believe how freaky steep it is.

This is a picture of the bottom of that hill in the last video to show the angle.
