If anybody gets there late, PLEASE try to be quiet. You are camping in their front yard. Just crash for the night and you can set up in the morning, especially if you camp in the gravel or across from the barn. Sorry to sound like a stick in the mud, or sound belittling, most buggy riders I've met are considerate of stuff like this so I probably dont even need to say nothin', but I will anyways to increase the chances of getting to ride there for as long as possible. But I have heard jackasses trying to get a nasty sounding buggy to "clear out" at 2 a.m.., and stuff like that is why Darrell only lets people he knows in most of the time.
To all who have never been there before , try and remember this is their home, not a business. They have small grandchildren and older folks who live there, too. They are doing us a HUGE favor by letting us ride. They dont do it for money, they do it because they like to see folks have a good time.
I'm camping down the hill by the concession stand for the dragstrip, if it aint too wet. Look for the ratty camper with puke green stripe and a dark blue F250. I think there will be "gustograber's" converted school bus, too! Stop in and say Hi and drink a cold one!
