Custom rear coil-over shock mounts.? Jet motor maybe some wings you know stuff like that..

I have been thinking that since I am about to start to tear my current buggy apart and start to build the Predator buggy as soon as I get it. That I could take pictures as I go. I know several have done a great job with documenting their builds. SO I wanted to ask what would you like to see and I can try my best to cover it in my build. The Wild Kids |

You buy the coilovers and I will install them on this new buggy and take pictures of the process for you. Thanks for the shocks by the way I will be keeping them. lol!! I won't have the frame till sometime at the end of July. My order has been placed just waiting inline for my turn. So I am going to start tearing mine apart in the next week or so. John |

Within the passenger side tree bar, make an oval out of 2" tubing so that I can take a dump next time we go riding. |

I never thought about it and haven't been riding in a buggy enough to know but the tree bars would make an excellent dump station. No where on the 4wheeler like that. Beats squatin by a mile.

I am going to do the same, I am going to tear mine apart for the new frame, just the motor and tranny, it is a Predator Grizzly. I should have it by the end of June.  I will probably end up selling my old Packrat frame with the front end, trailing arms in the rear, SAW torsions with SAW spring plates, 6 Fox shocks (4-12" and 2-8.5") 2.0 Fox shocks, it just depends on the deal that I will get if I sell it all at once.  It may be a rolling chassis to where all you need is a motor and tranny. I will let you guys know when I am ready.

There are four ahead of me including yours. I am getting the grizzly as well. I am robbing my frame of all parts that I can use on the new frame. I can't wait to get the frame. im with tracker personal touch.cool strap hooks,cup holder,speker mounts ,swich panal,tool boxes,coolermounts,and my most favoret just some thing different.show us some ways of lightin thigs up!but keeping it tuff.im about to start a new build my self so these are things im going for |

Well today I have just about totally disassbled the buggy. All that is left is the tranny that will be next to take out and the rear brakes. Before I cut the torsion off of it, I am going to take it and wash it off at the car wash and clean it up some to take pictures of it. The frame is for sale. The Wild Kids |

Leaving all my stuff on the torsion and just tranferring it to the other frame. I had thought about that and found a bus torsion but them I would have to buy brakes and everything else. After thinking about it I will just transfer things over. The Wild Kids |

As I am just finishing my buggy up... here are a few things I would have done differently.. 1) Made sure I had all the extra bars added before I went to Paint. Difficult to add later.. 2) Allowed the floor to be easily removed. I have everything bolted through the floor. Pain to clean 3) Mounted a Winch in the front during fabrication. I did not leave any good spots to mount a winch 4) Moved the aluminum gas tank down so I can see out the back. 5) bought combo spindles rather than forged spindles (worth the money in steering radius) 6) Added more frame re-enforcement (more cross bars, more supports and more gussetts) 7) Number 6 again... '8) Used 3X3 arms.. I choose 2x2 because I had type 2 axles and I ended up buying axles anyway 9) Upgraded to 930 CV joints... I am using Race Prep Type 2s for the same reason above Just some of my thoughts. Have fun and good luck Dan |

Very well laid plan. I did about the same added booocooo braces everywhere I thought I would ever want one, and I had the same idea floor off easy, so I took the time and laid it out so nothing mounts to my floor and it can be taken out with 15 bolts. Still wish I did a couple things different its always 99% completed haha. |

Weld nuts (grade to frame tabs especially any that are hard to reach like under the seats and pedals. I welded all of the floor pan nuts to the frame that way you can take an air ratchet from the bottom and remove the floor pan by yourself in just a couple of minutes.
