the stuff works pretty good. just make sure everything is clean inside and out including the slice. i used a wire wheel on the surface and a round file in the cut. after cleaning make sure to use the prep solution and apply it way beyond the area. mixing the two parts is a p.i.a. because the stuff is stickier than snot on a door knob. i used a screen roller/repair tool. apply it to the inside and outside and push it through the cut, build it up over the cut then taper it off on the edges. allow it to set up at least a day before remounting the tire. once its set up dont buff it or try to smooth it out just leave it alone, i tried that and it seemed to make it weaker.(it failed on me right after that and i had to redo it) i had to run a tube but the tire is still on my buggy since last season and im gonna try to squeeze another season in. wellsville can be rough on side walls especially with all the shale on the hill climbs.
sorry we didnt get to hook up over the weekend, hope to see ya there another time
