Hey guys,, sorry to keep asking about my power steering buy im kinda getting mixed reviews and really i need the reviews from you guys in the woods cause thats were ill be riding.Im just looking for some feedback. I bought a saco magnum rack. A new howe pump and a sweet servo, howe ram and of course the fluid tank. I ahve not set this up yet on my buggy. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of there similar setup or if anyone could just give me there opinions of the ups and downs of this system.. I bought it from Kartek and told them my situation and they recommended this setup so it should work good i hope.. So anything would help me out Thanks in advance Nick |

I don't use power steering myself but everyone who does loves it. Sounds like you have all the good stuff. I say bolt it on and you are on your way to driving with one finger. |

The system you have will work great. Since you bought it all new Im curious why you did not go with Howes rack with the Servo build in It would have not been that much more and it stream lines the build. My system is very simlar to yours with the seperate Saco rack and Sweet Servo. I am assuming you bought the the pump mount and pully for the engine. It also makes it easyer to build. Did you buy the tank with the filter built in? Also Howe reccommends that the tank be mounted higher than the Pump and Servo. I dont have any pics of mine at the moment. |

i have the howe setup with the diablo rack/servo combo. i can turn the wheel with one finger, along with the cutter brake i can move through the woods no problems. i think madmike is doing a similar setup to yours, he had pics posted somewhere. put it on you'll love it dont listen to the naysayers.

I didnt go with the howe rack just because the guys at kartek told me the howe rack will not hold up as well as the saco magnum. I just modified the pump mount that is already on my motor for the new howe pump. And the tank does have the attached filter. I have heard that this type of power steering is a little squirrely on the road and in snow anyone have any comments on that?? |

I have not heard that about the servo/ram setup. I have heard that with the Charlyn torque generator however. |

Hey Plumberbill you wouldnt happen to have a pic of where that rams connected to the frame and rack, i can see a little of it iin the pics.? Thanks Nick |
