 Post subject: cut firestones

when yall cut them firestones do yall cut any out of the middle of the tires,on the lugs or dont do anything to them but sharpen them

Mine are cut 50/50 so the meet in the middle.

I cut the center lugs back and leave a 1/2 inch gap threw the center.

so i probaly could cut them to the center line in the middle or a 1/2 in. to the outside

Yes.That frees up the center of the tire and lets each lug bite better.

I cut the tips of the lugs off so you end up with what looks like a line around the middle of the tire. This makes them flex.

I traced what needs to be cut off your tires with red, but you can hardly tell in this picture.
