I thought I had run out of rubber to cut off my Boggers, but no.I found more. I started cutting with the knife till the blade broke off. Then I switched to the grinder. The grinder works fast but it's messy and I'm guessing the smoke is toxic. The sidewalls are much softer though.

Dean, where can you get those discs? I bought one similiar off the Mac truck, but that one looks like it would work alot faster with the holes in it to sling the debris. Also does it fit a 4"grinder (small arbor) or 4 1/2". Got both, but the 4 1/2" is a lot better grinder. My disc only fits the 4". Yours looks like 4 1/2" in the pic. Thanks, Larry |

http://www.alltiresupply.com/p-RH-114.html This is a good place to order the Tire Rasps from they have all kinds. This type is the best. It is called a rubber hog by rema. I also took a drill and made the hole a little bit bigger so it would fit my grinder. The 2 1/2" works best for tractor tires it will get between the bars. I have tried the 4" and they dont do as good of a job for me. These things are very dangerous also, They will cut your flesh as well as rubber! So use extream caution. |
