I would just run a hard line like the brakes, with a hose to the slave cylinder. I don't trust nylon, it seems to crush, pinch and break!

Hard line is the only way to go with a woods buggy. I have seen one incident of a line breaking and causing a crash. Not worth it to me IMO.

Was trouble shooting a hydraulic clutch problem one time.
It had plastic line on it.
Clutch arm would not come back far enough to disengage.
Even tried a new slave cylinder.
No joy........

Turned out the plastic was swelling ever so slightly and not enough volume of fluid was transferring to the slave cylinder.

Installed a metal line and it worked fine.

I use it on my front brakes. Dirt track racers use it all the way around on thier brakes. Its not the same thing as ice maker line. takes special fittings just for that line. If routed properly it is great.

Thing is dirt track racers dont have tree limbs laying in the racetrack for them to rip the lines out

Hey Gary what about the time you blew one of those plastic lines at Bug-In on the uphill drags?

Yeah my butt still puckers over that one Aaron.
Thought I was gonna go in the graveyard that night.

My drag buggy had metal lines on it before the next weekend........ 8)
