Just wandering if any one else worked on their buggy today? It was nice outside so I changed the oil, topped off the tranny fluids again to make sure that it was full after the rebuild. Rebuilt both Weber 40 IDF carbs. Going after a new battery after while, looking at the Opti batteries. Just another excuse to buy a 6 pack. lol!

i worked on mine today also. My girlfriend abby finally decided to want to go for a ride so i went to get it out and ended up having to go after a new battery also! She only wanted to ride because it was on the road and not the woods. she says i scare her and doesnt like to do much hill climbing so if we are on street tires she likes to go,other wise she wont. but i also have new webbers and a six rib coming this week hopefully and also a set of extended trailing arms soon. so let the work begin!

Too purty to work so I took off till 6p. Got the timing belt off with the help of my son. The belt was wore out and had jumped about 4 teeth on one cam. So happens my old motor had a new belt. Had to buy a tensioner... $132. Gonna try to put it all back together tomorrow after church. Then I can really test the babychains.

I haven't worked on mine in several months. If I could ever quit working on this jeep I'd be able to make some progress. I put a water pump in the jeep tonight.
