Now hearing of at least one death in Lawrence Co. near the Speake community . Lots of homes destroyed there. Robin Meade on Headline News said a tornado near Huntsville but th local TV hasn't mentioned it. She must be talking about the one in Lawrence Co. Looks like Ky is hit much harder than here. |

We had a couple thunderstorms roll thru yesterday. They are always a little spookie in the winter. You know something bad is happening somewhere. |

I am about 40 miles west of the AL state line in GA and the storms have definitely hit...There is a lot of thundering and lightening going on and some fairly hard, blowing rain, but so far the weather channel isn't saying anything about tornadoes....and I'd like it just fine if they stayed away from here. |

Sad news to report, from what I just heard there have been 24 deaths across Tennessee and 45 total for this storm. Hearts and prayers go out to those that have lost family and their possessions in this storm. The Wild Kids |

My husband has a whole passel of RC planes that him, his son and several friends around here fly almost every weekend up there at his Daddy's...... It looks like planes from WWI, WWII, and some wars we haven't even had yet flying around there.......of course, when a real plane wants to take off or land, they have to yield the field |

Just heard on the news that in Tennessee alone 31 deaths have been caused by this storm. Mostly in the Jackson, TN area. I am afraid that the number might still go up as they investigate the out lying areas. The Wild Kids |
