| Post subject: | My Tranny setup |
Hey everyone, Im getting ready to order all my stuff for my tranny. I have a 6rib now i need to order the clutch and all that good stuff. I thought i posted this already but couldnt find it. I was wondering what is the best setup to go with. Im gonna be running a 2276cc. I will be doing lots of hillclimbing mudding trail riding and some on road use (not legally lol). Whats you guys suggestion on clutch, pressure plate and anything im not mentioning.. Thanks always. |

Get ready for lots of different answers. I kept burning stock bug clutch disc with a subaru 2200 . So after going to a Kennedy stage 2 pressure plate and a Kushloc disc, I haven't had any problems. My buddy broke a 6 rib with a 6 puck. Another buddy loves his 6 puck but his tranny is beefed up some. This was covered earlier. Maybe someone can find it. |

I wouldn`t use a 4 or 6 puck they grab way to hard and will tear everything up a good pressure plate and kush loc is perfect. aaron |

Kennedy stage 2 with stock disc. I wanted the disc to be my weakest link. It's easier to change a clutch than rebuild a tranny. |

sharpscooters set up works really well and is a whole lot smoother on a hill side than a puck he can slip his clutch and wen it locks it is as solid as a puck |
