There's a couple of small differences, I think mainly in width, but the diameter is the same. Go to blindchickenracing.com and look for the joint comparisons. They have caliper readings on all of them.

Brett there the same dia,same spline,they are wider with a smaller ball so you get more angle before bind mudd

brett type 4's are what i sold you on those axles. they are 944's and like mudd said the balls are smaller so that means ther are more metal on the cages.the cage is what breaks so more meat less chance to break.
