I just bought a rail. the title is marked "for off road only" how can I get it switched to a regular title. It has lights, horn, dot belts. no turn signals or rearview mirror. Dot tires |

What state do you live in? Does the buggy have a VIN? |

Ohio title has a 9 digit vin. |

When I lived in Ohio, I took a beetle title to the DMV and told them I just built a "dune buggy" and they said ok, here ya go! I did give the insurance company pictures just so we were clear on what I was driving. Make sure you have front brakes!!! |

Like racebug said get a beetle title. That's what I have and I too gave pictures to my insurance company. It's the easiest way. If you go state inspection its time consuming and a hassle. |
