Its roughly 30 miles from biscuit mt... I-22 ends at coalburg road and you park right there close to the exit. The parking lot is where they used to have job trailers set up for when the interstate was coming through the mountains. Weve parked there for years and havent had any trouble.

I have to work friday or i would tag along and show you around. My cell # is 205-369-9956, hit me up if yall decide to ride it and i can give directions to and through the woods 8)

Fultondale is 1 mile off of I-65 above Bhm like Reno said. Turn rt coming south at the Flying J truck stop (high prices due to captive truckers)40th street exit ( Daniel Payne). After a mile, turn rt on Coalburg, go 1 mile then 100 ft b4 the new interstate I-22, turn lt and a dirt road will take you up a hill to the parking lot. Excellent riding but a guide would make it so much easier. Biscuit is just down that interstate. But don't mistreat yer motor or break your brakes b4 biscuit. If you camp, go thru the dirt parking lot and take a dirt road to a look out point. Nice view of Birmingham if you wear dark sunglasses at night lol. DON'T WANDER BHM DAY OR NITE. YOU may accidently drive into some bad spots. Black folks will tell you not to get lost in some places! But, Flipindale is a blast! Can't wait till they finish the interstate because it cut my favorite riding trail in 1/2. Should be reconnected this year. Those interstate construction cops are evil.
