I am having a hell of a time finding out if any LS motor has the same bell housing bolt pattern as a 95 Chevy 3.1L V6. I have spent hrs on Google and cant seem to find the info i need. If anyone has info plz let me know.
I appreciate it much!

Looks like the 3.1 is a metric pattern same as the 5.3L LS4 V8
But LS1 is same as 4.3l but not 3.1L ......... IMO

a GM 60 degree v6 has a bellhousing bolt pattern all there own. A 4.3 has the same as a older model v8 .And the ls1 have a different pattern. Jody at KEP can send you what ever you need

The LS and older v8 are nearly the same
A powerglide or TH350/400 will bolt right up to any LSx motor, except the front wheel drive applications. There is a top center bolt on the LS that's not on the old school stuff. Only difference.
You do need to space the LS flexplate out from the crank flange, though.

Hell, I wouldn't know either, if my own sons had not of taught me a little bit about LS motors. 8)
Koko built and has been drag racing an LS1 z28 a little bit, and youngest is putting a turbo 5.3 in his '84 trans am.

I can't keep up these days. :?
