This has happened in the past with deals gone shady . We are all brothers here and look out for each other !
I send this guy a message on Facebook asking him to do what's right and contact Gary to take care of business .
I just looked again and he unfriended me now .
I see that he has 87 mutual friend which are buggy friends .
Gary fronted this guy parts to help him get out and ride and will not contact him back after numerous attempts .
If you are friends with him on Facebook could you guys just send him a messege and ask him to contact Gary .
I hate to see a good person get taken .

Any resolution to this? I see the guy is still on the buggy sites on facebook. I recognize a few of his friends on his list from here. I had a guy screw me for $180 last year on some car parts so I know that aggravating feeling of being blown off.

If you're on a fixed income how do you afford this hobby? I make decent money & there are some things I simply can't afford to buy. His list of priorities amazes me

He responded on facebook & claims the pistons ruined his block. I'd love to know how that occurs....

Ditto! You don't get to test run mechanicals & only pay if you are happy. Too many idiots assemble it wrong & destroy things then blame the parts.

Those pistons were used and he knew that going in.
He wanted used to get him by.
Those were AA "B" series pistons.

It's not about the money, it's the principal.
I really don't know how 2 pistons could blow up his engine.
Thinking maybe it was an error in the assembly if that was the case.

I'm done with him.
Lesson learned....on my end anyway...... :?

It Really sucks to see this happen to a GREAT guy like Gary Davis   .
If anyone has pics of David and his buggy it would be good to share so the rest of can be watchful.
Good Luck

Thanks for the kudos Kenric.
I've been burned a few times, guess it's time to quit being so trustful of people.
Couple bad apples just makes the rest of us leery of trying to help a fellow buggy guy out.

That's a fact Gary. I tried to be trustful of folks only to get screwed. So my newly enforced requirement is a 50% non refundable deposit for all work, don't care who you are. You don't want pay when they are finished, you will at least cover the cost of material.
Oh Mike, I need a set of.............. I build them and when it comes time to pony up, they are like a ghost or you find out they bought it from someone else AFTER they ordered from me. Then the best part is, they want you to build something else for them later on.

I mostly just lurk the forums to gain knowledge for stuff I'm working on .... But after reading this Wow ! Just another disappointment in humanity!! Not only did he take the parts ! But then he blames Gary for his engine trouble .
Now that's about as low as it goes
Anyone that knows Gary knows he's the real deal . Small buisines there to take care of us customers , And more than willing to help out when he can ..
Same goes for Mad Mike I happen to know both of these guys fairly well .. And its a pleasure to work with either one of them . I hate to see a few Fucktards bring you guys down . Keep up the good work fellars there's more of us honest guys than the Jackasses . And I would just about bet in a community this small he will get what's coming to him .
