hello im thinkin of buliding my buggy into a 1 seater and my only concern is the shifter and im trying to do a low budget build because im also putting a crank cam and lifters in my motor. i already know im using some kind of rack for steering and i have a hydraulic assembly so. if you have any suggestions for my shifter please do tell.

Checkout Mckenzies site. Download the catalog and lookup shifters. They have just what you need. A side shifter cost around $90. Works good. Thats what I have. You will like the single seater. Since I built mine I have been able to climb hills better, noticed a sharp increase in my income and have lots of beautiful women fighting for my attention.

I saw a setup a guy made once using rod and 3/8 swivels. This would work if your seat is far enough ahead of your tranny. My brother had a single seater. The shifter was between his legs and the shift tube went under the seat. It was actually kinda cool. Theres a couple ideas.

yeah im doing alot this winter. does anybody know what a 74 crank with 87 pistons and a 110 cam will put me at?
