I have described my ride on here before, 1600 dp, 2 barrel 40 empi carb. I just went with 2 x 3 arms from Appletree, and love them. My question is, will this change the way it performs, not just the way it rides? I fueled up with a couple fifths of whiskey over the fourth, and could not seem to get it in the air on a hill that I know I should have been able to launch it. It seems like I am having to shift into second sooner than I used to. Or am I just nuts? However, it does seem to run a little harder on jim beam...

The longer arms should make for a smoother ride and now your suspension is not unloading the same way.

You are probably going much faster and smoother but you might not get the air you did before.

Longer arms change the weight bias, putting more weight towards the front.. not knowing how tight the torsion was before the swap, but a torsion that is too soft will actually take bite away from the rear tires.. you may be changing gears sooner because its spinning   a little suspension tuning out back may have you flying high again 8)
