I have a light weight vw sandrail with a 14 inch steering wheel, not much room between my knees and the tubing, mostly use for forest service roads, do you think a 10 inch would be too small?

im running a 13" in a kinda heavy 4 seater with stock steering. I don't think I would go any smaller but perhaps with a lighter frontend I would go a little smaller.
