 Post subject: Tubing Slugs

Does anybody know where to buy slugs or what other tubing will go into
1.5"x.095 tubing?

Not aware of any tubing that will fit well in .095. You might try 1" schedule 40 black pipe as it's measured with ID dimensions. I will say that 1 1/4" DOM works well in 1 1/2" 120 wall.

That helps. Thanks Ody. Surely there are slugs for that. There is a race shop down the road. I guess I can ask them. But I like to hear my Woods buggy friends ideas.:D

As I recall the last time I did it, I used 120 wall 1 3/8" DOM and turned the slugs down to fit.

That makes sense. That's probably the cheapest way also. So I assume your buggy is made of .120 ?

No most of the buggy is .095. I replaced a section of one of the tree bars with .120.
