Ok I am sure I will get some abuse for this but I am tossing around the idea of selling my lightly used 2387 with all the goodies and going to the dark side...Anyone interested in a turnkey setup like this? Forged crank, H beam stroker rods, straight cut cam, 1-4 rockers, alum supercase cut for big bore, scat lifters, 2500lb pressure plate, eliminator heads, dry sump with remote tank, aluminum fan shroud, Dual weber 48's with big filters and intakes and custom aluminum covers over the filters, electric fuel pump with regulator, msd ignition and coil and distributor and plug wires and much more I am sure. Its built right and runs real strong. Has low hours on it. 200+ hp on the dyno when it was built in 2010. It would be completely bolt on and turn key.
I would be looking to go ecotec. I love this motor but I have the ability to ride outside of wellsville... ie put around my farm when checking fence and cattle. Racefuel and dual carbs are great for climbing crazy stuff in the ville but not so great for my farm riding. I don't feel that swaping to a 190hp ecotec will hinder me too much in the ville but will allow me to get a lot more use out of my buggy at home. I might be an idiot for even thinking about this swap but I know there is a lot of happy subie/ecotec guys out there and they go just about everywhere. I would have to venture to say this motor has less than 20-30 hours of ride time. I was thinking this motor is fairly priced at around $5,000 for everything. Does this seem about right? Thanks for the input and interest.

Thanks Dave. If anyone wants to see it in action I will be in Wellsville this weekend. You can see and hear it run. Hell if you are really interested I will let you jump behind the wheel.

Not to burst your bubble on the 5K however I built a similar 2332 Turbo motor. I took it out of my Buggy with very little time on it and ended up only getting $2800.00 out of it! Certainly had more than that into it. Granted I did not supply carbs or MSD with it. It took over a year and half to sell. Just sayin!
