I did a forum search and gathered a bit of information. So I need to find out at what point my CV's begin to bind and limit the suspension travel to just before that point... that's the basics, right? each inch of strap can stretch up to 1/8th of an inch also...

SO... what kind of limit strap should I look for (2000lbs, 3000lbs). As of now I have + 3 (I THINK) torsion trailing arms. What do I need to buy to save my CV's when the suspension unloads?

Here's the best shot I have of the rear suspension.

Straps will stretch especially cheaper ones .
Make sure you put adjustable clevis mounts on for adjustment needs later .

I'm swapping some out. I have 2- 15" quad straps from Poly Performance. They are a couple years old but have only been used a few hours. I also bought some 11" Beard quad straps that I think are too short. I need to measure again, but I think I will need some 12"-13". If you need 11" or 15" straps let me know. I think I could sell them for about $20 a pair plus a little shipping. The 11" Beard are brand new, just installed today, but I believe they are too short. I'll get the axles on tomorrow and will know for sure what I will do with either set.

That's what I use, only I pull it through an old english bicycle tube so it doesn't rattle.

Chain all the way ! No stretching just wrap it in black tape so it don't rattle. Or like Bill said pull it threw a piece of inner tube
