Hard to beat an interstate battery or at least I've always had great luck with them.if you are going to let set a long time and use the acc a lot while out towing then yellow tops.IMO . Chad

We have an account at Batteries Plus here in town and I just buy the replacement battery for my truck. Replaced both batteries one time on an '06 Powerstroke with 104,000 miles. They aren't too expensive but they seem to always work. We run snow plows, salt spreaders, strobe lights and all sorts of crap off of them. I'm not sure I'd pay the extra for an optima myself after years of trouble free from the "whatever" brand from Batteries Plus.
