 Post subject: Trans seal

If im thinking correctly, that seal in the cup pops out, theres a C clip behind it. Flange slides off and ya pop the seal your talking about out and pop the new one in. fairly simple. never replaced one myself. But pretty sure thats how it works.

thats it ive done a few that way, very easy.

He is a really nice guy and very knowledgable. His son actually races buggy's in CA.

When u get the flange off look at the flange where the splines are and see if hole is in center of the flange. I had one I couldn't get to stop leaking and found that hole off center. It was so far off the seal didnt hit all the way around the seal surface.Called rancho and they replaced it for free, come to find out it was a empi part number. Wouldn't you know it.
