I'm really disappointed in some of the members condoning and even backing up any member that would knowingly keep winnings that belonged to another member.
It's just not right to not support all the guys that work so hard at these events to not help them correct a mistake.
And as far as my post about larceny, I would have posted that no matter which member was involved.
Larceny is just one of my peeves, that makes me run red.
I had $25,000 in theft last year, and I have ZERO tolerance for it.

I still dont understand who stole what? Everything was explained and made clear from the get go. There was people that was a little disappointed but by no means acussing some one of stealing. I cant stand a theif either but if some one came to me and asked for anything i have or had i would probrably give it to them or at least try.

I think we are confusing theft with taking [depriving].
Both are larceny's.
Larceny is the taking and carrying away the property of another with the intent of permanently depriving the owner of said property. He is doing it because he has stated he will not return it even though he knows the extra money belongs to some of the other competitors and they can be identified.
It's just not right, to keep the extra winning, that actually belongs to the other competitors that were shorted.
Why not help the guys that worked their butts off at this event to correct a mistake they made.
I'll throw an extra $100 to the pot, if everybody would work together to straighten this out.
You stepped up like a man and offered to send your extra back, I commend you.
Bill
PS...I'm done.
