I know this topic has been discussed before but I thought I would see if there are any new ideas..

I am looking for an inexpensive Tube Bender for 1 1/2 tubing. I will not use it very often, just have a few tubes I want to bend a little bit.

Will something like this work at all...

Thanks

I built this with their free plans... http://www.pro-tools.com/product.aspx?zpid=567 Pain in the ass without the right tools (I used a grinder and drill press) I used mostly all scrap material on hand and have about $340 in it. I would go with one of the $300 models next time. I built that one thinking I could buy a die for cheaper and thought it would be less work, and it will bend 120 degrees instead of 90. I'll post some pics early next week...

That is a good bender for the money. We used one of those to build a few buggys . You won't be disappointed.

I agree we bought one this winter and it was making easy and consistant bends!
