This is it boys!! If your looking for a way to get publicity for the dune buggy world. This is your chance. Go spank them high dollar 4x4's with your 2wd Buggy and let Madram11 film it. That's all it will take. He'll have you on youtube by Monday. This is your chance at the big show!!! |

The 2wd stole the show no doubt, im really glad to see some of you guys coming out to our events. I was a lil disappointed that only 3 2wd rigs ran the bounty, im sure i saw atleast 10 at the park. Congratulations to Mr. Hyde, he was the fastest and made short work of another hill later in the day, that I said no way he will climb a straight up rock ledge... well he did. We let him name the hill after being the fastest, so the new bounty hill is now Wormy's Last JoJo Tanner climbed a nasty ledge to left of the bounty run, and named it Rocky Top. |

d&m2007 wrote: THEY TOLD ME YESTERDAY THAT THE WOULD BE LONGER THATS GOOD BUT WILL THEY LET US RUN NOW !!!! We dont really have any rules that would stop woods buggies from racing, most of the hills we run have rock ledges that may be a problem for the 2wd rigs. Not that i dont think one would have made it, but none tried to hit the right side of the bounty hill which had the stump and steep lip. I saw Mike Hyde follow Screamin II up a ledge that looked impossible for a 2wd, so I know they are capable. The main thing to keep in mind is this series is set up to keep a fast paced event, be exciting for spectators, and put on a good show, so if we spend too much time on recoveries, the crowd gets bored. At Choccolocco, we ran Backside, Boat Ramp and Pick Your Poison, none of which Ive seen a 2wd climb, not sayin its impossible, just dont know of any that have climbed it. We already have a plan set in motion to run a 2wd class next year, so hopefully yall will still be wanting to run. We only have about 2 or 3 spots left for the next event at Hawk Pride, so if you want to enter go ahead and sign up on our site: http://southernrockracing.com/upcoming-events/ |

d&m2007 wrote: is it going to b the same hill and how much to enter The series comp will be 3 hills, and yes the one we used last weekend will be one, and we are cutting one more on that ridge. We only let 25 people enter because with 3 hills that means we have 75 runs, and time will run out if we allow more entries. You can sign up the day of if we have any spots left, its $25 to enter the comp. |
