Do you have access to a two seater as well? If not I say leave it. For me... the fun part about the buggy is locking someone in the passenger seat and making them scream like a little girl |

No other buggy right now. I do plan to build an invader style buggy someday, but right now my wife doesnt really ride with me, and I usually ride with a group, so my passenger seat is empty |

It's really up to what you want.if you don't have anybody to ride with you and you want a s/s then do it.those suspension seats sure are comfy, lol. Chad |

I prefer to have a passanger myself. And the only thing you will gain making it a single seater is a little elbow room. You wont get any weight savings without changing the frame. It's also nice to have some spare seats in the group when someone breaks down. |

If it gave you the weight loss of a true SS I'd be more inclined to say do it. |

I had a friend who was a rather large fella, he converted one over and when it all said and done it turned out very well...If i had to use fiberglass seats i would do it in a minute... ![]() after this he put 3x3 arm warrior beam fox piggy back coils all the way around..

Sorry I shoyuld have specficed. I'm not doing it hoping for the performance of a normal single seater. I'm just sick of being beat to death by my seats, I'm a bigger guy (6'1", 250 lbs, size 36 waist) and these fiberglass seats dont fit my ass very well. So I'm just doing it for more elbow room and a much bigger, comfier seat. I'll move the cooler inside, so it wont be wasted space. |
