My cousin put a 1.8 on a buggy once.. the wiring was super easy..Only 3 or 4 wires to hookup (to ground and 12V+ that is). I think it was out of a geo prism? 4afe maybe..cannot remember. It ran good and there are really no downsides, except radiator, fuel pump, and adapter plate..

A friend of mine in Pa. has a 1600 twin cam out of a MR2 in a Champion frame, and it sh&ts and gits. AND, NO questions on the reliabilty homefront. Kennedy makes the adapter kit, and everything is straight forward. Should be as easy, or easier than an Ecotec. YEA, YEA, YEA, Iknow I'll hear a ton of sh$t from them GM boys, But you got a Toyota, and plenty of power to boot. DON'T BE SKEERED to do it. You'll fall in love, and be the # 1 tird in the sh^t parade ?????
