Put on my new chromoly spindles. (EMPI) but both spindles are threaded left hand. (Passenger side is wrong) will the nut back off? It has an Alan head set screw. Opinions please. Thanks.

front wheels are over rated anyway. But for real it will be fine just lock the spindle nut down tight. 8)

I wouldn't over tighten it, hows about double nut or one of them aluminum nuts with a cross bolt.

I'm running the aluminum nuts with the set screws. Guess I can buy another left hand thread nut and be done. But figured they were different for a reason. If some of you guys would just run it like it is let me know. Just wanted input to see if any of you have ran into this.

The other thing I will add is I have more chromolly splinters in my fingers and hands than those spindles do.
It's amazing on how much stuff is made from chromolly when it's all 1018 or 1020. And when someone says "made from 300M", you better have a spec sheet to show me, ever try to by the stuff?

I like the quality of the parts I just think they were miss built. I can prolly call them and they will send me another spindle but if I can run it like it is safely I will. And yes I agree for the most part with some of their parts, the quality is not there in some instances :?

All California crap is junk or made in China.I learned that 20 years ago when my friends crank would explode and destroy block rods cam leaving nothing but heads and a carburator behind. That is why I desperatly build out of the junk yard.Quit making them millionaires.
