Iam heading to Drews tomorrow To order my new frame. i gave them a call to just order it over the phone and why we were talking about what i want they mentioned to come in that they had a buggy i could sit in and see if thats what i was looking for as far as room. So if any body wants to ride along and go shoping i will be leaving here around 8am form the mansfield area.

Also iam torn between witch frame to go with give me some opinions

I'm partial to the stalker. realy happy with mine. I would recomend you get the roof 6"taller. You said before your tall. Mine has 3" taller and i dropped the seating 2". I'm 6'2". The stalker is also available 4" wider but that requires wider ft beam and wider rear arms.

When I was shopping for a 4 seater frame I was nearly sold on the Sandfox. My vote is for the Sand fox!

I like them both, but think the stalker is a little bit nicer.the sand fox reminds of some of the first factory frames though, kinda old school looking but would have to add a few more brace bars..but I agree you should get the extra head room in it.Chad

Whatever you get, don't have a windshield bar slanted rite in front of your eyebrow. It hurts!

When i was talking to brain he told me that i could get the stalker 5" taller. and that might give the room i need with the seats i want to run. I did not know you could get them wider than 50.5" i want to run two suspension seat so maybe i should get it wider.

I have a SandFox and really like it but I also like the stalker. One great thing about the stalker is the bars are all straight and it is easier to add extra supports. With the Sandfox, you will need to bend a lot of the bars to have them look right.

i have a stalker frame and i love it...im 6'4" so room was an issue...i went with kirkey seats and have plenty of room without a drop pan. i tried the corbeau seats and they fit but i would have had to rearrange everything to make up for the bigger seat...

...not sure on the dimensions but it is wider so ur not elbow to elbow with the passenger and it has a high roof, i had a fugitive and the cab forward design of the stalker took a lil gettin used to, but im happy with it...i did go with 4x5 rear arms with an 8" wider front with 2" longer arms with coilovers, gives it a real good stance

Well got back from drews today and i went with the stalker frame. i got it 5' taller and 3" wider with a custom torsion fully welded. i cant wait till this comes in to start the build.i was really hopeing to get this done for this year. But i have never built a new buggy to iam going to spoil myself and get the best i can afford and build my dream buggy. i will just have to find me something to ride this summer to hold me over till i get this buggy done for next year

The nice thing on the Sandfox (which is what I have) is the seats are mounted 18" in front of the torsion like the KY single seaters. It creates a smother ride and better forward balence. If you are going with a WC I would deffinatly go this route. If you are going AC then the stalker might work better. Also the Sandfox has taller side rails then all the others so you wont need a third bar at your side like most other fames have added on. Personally I would buy one again unless I build one from the ground up.

Went on Berriens site, I think I like the stalker better. The lower section looks almost identical but I like the way the tubes run front to back for the upper cage, stronger I think I was told. Also like the rear engine cage better.
