Well iam torn on what to do. I could use some ideas maybe some guidence. I have all kinds of ideas just not sure witch direction to take, So i will let you all know what iam thinking and i look forward to your oppinions and ideas. The first pic is the current buggy i have. i bought this buggy just for the fact that it is street legal titled as a rodster here in ohio. i bought as a rolling chassis motor is blown with a car trans. the major problem with this buggy is iam 6'3" 275lbs and it is hard to get into and out off and my head sticks above the bars.. so i would have to cut the top off and rebuild the top ti fit me. I have a new motor that i bought off of here a WC pinto 2.0 So i still have to buy trans(bus) and i want to redo the front end with wider beam and long travel set up. The rear i want to go with a long travel set too. Fox shockes all the way around. And thats just the main stuff not counting rims and tires and all the little shit i want. So here is where iam torn should i do all this to this buggy or should i just throw a Vw motor in it and re sale it and put the money towards a brand new buggy.

or should i just start from fresh Have one of the buggy shops on here build me a new frame.
i still want a long travel buggy. I will still be useing the pinto 2.0 motor.

option 1 Vw trans

option 2 build a mid engine set up use a automatic trans into a pumpkin and mate up 930 cv and bus axles.
This set up will take a little more work but a lot stronger

I would put a VW motor in it and sell it to have funds for a new build. Or take the funds an buy a rolling chassis with a six rib, link pin front end etc. Down side to selling is in todays economy you will have a harder time selling. Upside is, priced right and being street legal helps the sell.

I would keep any usable parts sale as a roller for some one a street buggy and buy a frame built to fit u that buggy is really short and not very wide for comfortable seats

I agree with Knuck. Stick the motor on it and sell it...It looks good and is street legal so it will sell. You need to get what frame you want, so you will be happy with it. I like comfort when riding, so I'd say get the frame you want and sell the one you don't.

Find a chassis that fits you. I'm 6'2" so i know how you feel. The chassis i have is 3' taller than it normaly comes and i still lowered my seats 2' in the chassis to get them low enough. The title and vin are worth keeping if you want a street legal buggy. Sell the rest.

I think thats what i am going to do. Iam going to get that buggy going and sell it. but iam going to keep the title and vin That is th only reason i bought it in the first place.
now i just have to find that perfect frame for what i want to do.
I would like to use one of the buggy builders on here or one of the shops .
I have decided to go with a mid engine set up auto trans and a rearend.
i going to hit the junkyard tomorrow and pick up and tranny and rearend to use.
I want to keep it street legal but still off road more less build a pre runner more or less.

Any ideas on who to go with for a frame. ( i really like the frame the phil built f4 fantom
4 seater)
