I have a camper at yellow creek, (down on the bottom, by the creek) and have been hearing some bad rumors lately. The last I heard is that the campsite is going to stay open but riding won't be allowed, it will be more of a boating camp. Also I hear that there is a fence going up across the tracks, and free zone won't be availible anymore. My friend talked to tim, the camp manager, and he doesn't seem to know any truth to what's going on. Or he doesn't want to say, I don't know.

Does anyone know for sure what the deal is? I'm thuinking about moving to forbiddion zone, but I don't want to unless I have to. I got spoiled with my electricity and we have a pretty good setup right now, I'd hate to lose it.

I would keep my camper in that spot until a change takes place, or they make you move it..

Like most BS in Wellsville you can not believe anything until it actually happens! There have been many rumors in regards to the free Zone and access to it. So far nobody really knows much of anything. Where are you getting your info, hopefully not from sitting a round a campfire full of beer drinkers after midnight!

Ody, all of the info I posted came second hand from Tim, who is the camp manager. My friend called him and wanted access so he could get his camper out, and Tim basically told him what I posted earlier.

Like you said though, there's been rumors for years about the place closing.

Our group called yellow creek and would not give any info and they would not give prices they said ck back in the spring . I would imagine any business would take business if they they were in it for the offroaders ! Someone should call and say they have a boat and would like a site there but want to store it through the winter there and c if they change there story !

Things like this make me wonder even more. Like you said, if they were trying to make money and be an offroad park I would think that they would have been pushing for a sale.

How's the buggy coming? I'm fighting with yours now trying to bleed brakes, they don't want to bleed right. Running good other than that.

Still just collecting parts lol but all torn down to the frame lol ! The only way I could ever get them brakes to bleed was to unbolt calipers and put them up in the air high as possible and the would bleed right out ! Did u ever get good calipers for the rear ?
Send me a text I lost your number
