 Post subject: Headlight buckets

Has anyone ever tried mounting the halogen H4 bulbs in the chrome headlight buckets? For some reason the light doeasnt seem like it fits in there right and I cant seem to get the retaining ring to fit right.

I dont have any regular headlights to compare it to, but this is what the back of the light I have looks like.
