Post subject:  From a Road Scholar

I wish I was at the hill climb...Been in the garage drinking beer...Thinking about the frame that I won and the hill climb series...also thinking about the sponsor that we had LAST year and what some dumb a** said about Predator frames...Any person who thinks that one kind of frame climbs better than another brand is stupid...People take a frame and make it what it is...It is all a balancing act and power to weight ratio...I will say that 23 degree tractor tires,I saw first in Kentucky...They are the best for hill climbing, but for all around use?????? Tilting the motor at 8 degrees for use on long, steep hills is a good idea...If you didn't come up with any of these ideas yourself...you're a dumb a** for even talking about them...If you have anything to say about this...please call...740-646-1376...Smitty will be waiting...

Forgot wheel speed. My 543/246 2nd works good with a big motor. A 236 2nd worked good till I broke it pulling a buggy . Its a little fast for me. I can say most of the bad hills u will come to were climbed with a 456rp 344/246. one mans opinion. Have both but never came up with the ratio. I do have an old buggy with a stock 6 rib and 36" tall tires and that is a very good ratio for climbing. speed climbs hills.

A frame that will flex is magical.A hard front tire can lift the grip off the rear tire behind it.I had a frame once that would not climb out of the parking lot. Went from a rotten wo' out magical frame and took all the guts out of it and put them in a hard new frame and it was worthless.Who said it? I said it. Call me at 205 369-7406.lol.Just trying to help the crowd.I've had to learn the HARD Expensive way.
